MFG won't disclose why the CEO left and my bet is that they will say they cannot do so because there are legally enforceable "non disclosure agreements" in place. To which, the question should be "Why?". There is a chance they are not telling the market the truth about the reasons for Brett Cairns' departure, and they probably wouldn't want the former CEO telling anyone about it either. MFG could have pressured the departing CEO to sign such an NDA using things like unvested shares, the full recourse loans etc as leverage to keep him quiet. But at the end of the day, all of that would just be bad governance.
