This litte argument about whether or not HIV should remain the main game is really a fase dilemma, and therefore a misguided discussion that doesn't require any focus. It is not a matter of either / or.

HIV, is Biotron's main project, because it is the one they have dedicated themselves mosty too and are further along in research and results with, which are further advancing. As such, it will remain their principle program, unless of course, something different comes along that dominates their focus, then that coud be classified as the main game. Such a reason for re-focus woud certainly require to be significant.

They have other research going such as HBV, and now SARS 2, this later one for the obvious reason of causing a significant, existential health crisis on a gobal scale. If the next step with their SARS 2 research does in fact move into COVID human trials, which is as good as given, then yes, it will become a major part of their focus, especially if the program is conducted under the auspices of the FDA. But it still is not either / or. The HIV program will be continuing by the three new trials recenty commencing etc.


If the first round of COVID human trials prove successfull, then BIT225 will be on the path to becoming a global name, not for HIV, but for C19. But none of this will detract anything from the HIV program. In fact, it wi bring it into hightened focus.

Just imagine if Biotron developed an antiviral for C19, and it wasn't even their main game..... 'it was just something we did on the side......'

One way of it becoming their main game is if the C19 program is successful, and the HIV not.

Also, if a C19 antiviral is so successful that it required full production on a global scale, and the ongoing HIV program runs in the 'background.'
The weight of this outcome would obviously deserve C19 becoming the main game, but the core of this discussion is all semantics, and a distraction.

Considering that HIV has killed many more peolpe than C19, then it will remain a critically important focus.

Not that the number of deaths is the single criteria for determining what is signififcant.

Maybe we could discuss the bad wrap that bats have now received.
