Visiting the territory of Kabeya Kamuanga in Kasai-Oriental province this Sunday, December 26, the Head of State addressed the population at a rally.

In his remarks, Félix Tshisekedi said that after the difficult times, "our suffering will end."

He recalled the country's development plan across the territories.

Regarding Kabeya Kamuanga, the President of the Republic indicated that this development will begin with the construction of an administrative building that can support all the services of the entity.

He also mentioned the construction of a modern hospital and a school.

“Wipe away your tears. I have come to tell you that our suffering will end.

We have a development plan for our country.

This plan concerns our territories, like the Kabeya Kamuanga.

The administrator of the territory told us here that the administrative building is not able to take care of all the services.

We are going to put an end to this problem.

We are going to build modern hospitals in all the territories of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

We are going to build reference schools, ”said Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi.

The 5th President of the DRC recalled the infrastructure challenge that remains to be taken up in Grand Kasai.

In this regard, the Head of State placed emphasis on agricultural feeder roads which will allow products to be transported to major consumption centers.

On Friday, December 24, the Head of State began a tour of the Grand Kasai region.

After Mbuji-Mayi, the President of the Republic is in the territory of Kabeya Kamuanga, inside the province of Kasai-Oriental.

Like i said, There's a New Sheriff in Town with Big Plans all around

But without Mining and Manono a lot of this will be a No-No

Especially after selling the DRC as the "Solution Country"

I am absolutely flabbergasted that with the chinese, amongst others, being involved with DRC for 30+ years within the mining sector, that the DRC people are still impoverished......

DRC should be the equivalent of WA............the mining mecca.......

Clearly scummy deals and / or corruption by previous governments and mining companies prior to Felix rocking up.....

Felix Tshisedecki is leading the way for a greener , cleaner and more prosperous pathway for DRC people , built with ethics and trust, ......

AVZ is one very big cog in the wheel for that future to happen........

Folks can bitch about how AVZ management have missed copius time lines, but IMO, they have discovered a friggin monster and ticked some massive boxes and drew in some high class offtakes as well ...........albeit all chinese ..........(.my one and only grumble.)

AVZ management have ticked all these boxes with honesty and complete transparancy if i am reading the tea leaves right, so this fits in perfectly with the new government regime / mantra, so i see no reason what so ever why AVZ shouldnt be awarded a well deserved MINING LICENCE and get this NEW and IMPROVED generation started for not only DRC............but the WORLD.
