If you think that's a reasonable option , I wonder how you'd feel if you were in distress and instead of being given assistance , you were shot at ? I reckon you'd be pretty cheesed off . Whatever your thoughts on refugees are , remember there are often children on these boats . Those children aren't trying to rort the system .
BTW , Boat loads of Aussies are let into poor countries all the time . Loud , fat , gawking bogans called tourists . They like poor countries because they can get more bang for their buck and be treated like royalty . They take photo's of ''quaint'' scenes of poor people . Let's not even get started about the dirty smear that is sex tourism / slavery .
