Totally agree with your sentiment.
I do live in a very posh and snobbish suburb, and I can't help it but smile at those trying very hard to impress others with fancy cars/clothes/jewelry.
It was only 3 years ago, that I finally decided to upgrade my 12 year old (great little) Toyota for a new one.
It's the best feeling to be independent,- but to be honest, I don't know what would I do with myself without stock-trading.
