I could very much go back to revisit Cinque Terre
I also have fond memories of Positano ( a crazy town when you first visit because of the crazy traffic situation but it grows on your if you have the time to spend) especially because of our hotel hosts Giulano and Manuela from that hotel we also had an amazing visit to Pompeii (not to be missed if your in the region). I liked Amalfi there is a church there which is quite different to any church I have see in the world, but we were only there for a day.
With Rome my wife keeps throwing a coin into the Trevi fountain, so far we have been there on three separate trips because of those coins. So the gloss of Rome is beginning to fade a little. For a first time European traveller Rome is a must as is Paris and Amsterdam. But this thread started with my all time favourites.
