No, I don't consider Bergen to be in the same situation as James Gong & Vivienne Cheung. I've spoken with management on this topic, and if Bergen decided to sell the remainder of their position (unlikely but possible), they would be receptive to an organised block trade (off-market), unlike JG/VC. Thus, I don't consider Bergen an overhang on the share price. Once VC is out — a net profit announcement should be enough — I'm expecting a significant re-rate. Plenty of investors are smartly watching this situation unfold and patiently awaiting an entry.
How low this may go in the interim is unclear (NTA stands at c.8.5c), but what is more clear is that catalysts are on the horizon and that HLF's current valuation is not reflective of the broader ASX F&B set.
