Iron ore price, page-42299

Morning DCE session( May22) continued its stable gentle rise. SGX looking good ~$120+ from Jan - May 22
Comfortable place to be. SP trading with low volume and low volatility. Almost a yawn.

With the whippets on the hot sand on the foreshore at Sorrento, it's a bit more of a challange keeping tabs on the market. Looks pretty calm for us though. Do not mind at all.

With rising inflation commodities are always a great place to be. At least historically. I recall Marcus Padley saying of the last Iron Ore boom, when reflecting on the market - he said if you only invested into good IO stocks you would have done well over multiple years. I'm sticking with this advice.
Who knows with all this Omnicon stuff going on maybe the interest rate party will also continue lengthening the boom further and further. I'm not against that, especially with such a hesitant RBA not wanting to push the rate button until wages gather pace. Not holding my breath for increased wages.... but costs are definitely increasing.
