Tamils integrate very, very well. They were foot soliders for the colonials and received excellent education and secured senior positions in Colonial governments in many countries. They consider themselves white. They will see Indonesia as beneath them, the people inferior. When the Sinhalese majority won independance and made their language the offical one, many Tamils that were part of the Colonial ruling class lost their jobs because they never bothered with such things as learning the local language. They felt they should have been in control due to their superiority. They were marginalised because they did not want to integrate to Sinhalese but they integrate fine with western cultures as they are descendants of the invaders mindset.
So they will have no problem integrating as colonials long ago integrated them into capitalism.
