True, there are likely very low selling and administration costs with IP, but also similarly low revenue. I was once struck by how little ARM earned per core, it was 10´s of cents back then. I also didn´t specify which kind of margin I meant. Intel has generally had a gross margin of 55-65% and I agree, Brainchip could beat that.
But what is really the most important of everything tech is market share and if IBM and Intel don´t want to sell IP, then they'll let Brainchip have an easy lunch.
