Christ never taught the Trinity. I can give you numerous biblical passages with Jesus having the same attributes as the Father where the doctrine comes from. But won’t to make this easier to read.
Yea,.........I would stay away from it as well, because if you bring in Bible verses, your claim in the bold falls on it's face.
Attributes -> Deu 18:18 - I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. (God did this for many years before sending Jesus into the world John 17:18).
John 5:30 -I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me. Acts 2:22 - Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did through him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
John 3:34 - For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measureunto him.
And these words are Spirit and words of eternal life which then meant; John 5:26 For as the Father has life in himself (In his word) so has he given to the Son (Deu 18:18) to have life in himself.
So that is where and how the attributes come into play. Luke 2:40 & 52 - And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him. And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.
Did he fall out of favor at some point, if he pre-existed?
The emptying verse in Phil that you lot try and bring in, has zero to do with a pre-existing Jesus emptying himself. Jesus gives and example of this emptying.....................feet washing etc.
