Novonix wants to charge $9,000 per tonne by 2025. My understanding is that Synthetic is better quality, but are more expensive than natural. And its got a dirty base cause it is made from needle coke.
If that is true. $5,000 to $7,000 per tonne for natural sounds about right.
The $11,000 per tonne by Talga sounds too expensive. It is the same as Synthetic pricing in 2020.
The whole point to use natural is because its less expensive than Synthetic. Keeping the price of Anode down by blending the two.
