First off, the Lansion 100/100 kit. I couldn't find it on the Chinese language version on the site. No figures or documentation on the English site either. Red flag. Their non-reader kit states that it's intended for use within 7 days of onset of symptoms. Junk.

Here they are listed at only 95% sensitivity and 98% specificity.

Philippine FDA issued a caution about performance.

Second Chinese Getein 98.5/99.4 kit. No figures, no documentation again. Same figures on EU site. Can't find real-world data. Can't trust it either.


Third Canadian Laipac 97.4/98.3 kit. Documentation on site. Small clinical trial (95). Smartphone-based, has an app. Has a version 2 with a 5-slot reader claiming 500 per hour. 5-8 minute detection or 30 seconds on 'speed mode' (inaccurate?). It provides 97.4% sensitivity and 98.3% specificity for the SARS-CoV-2 virus detection in the first 8 days of symptom onset.



Competition from tests featuring our specific attributes seems sparse from this quick bit of digging. I'm sure there are more out there, it's just a ton of stuff to sift through if not using an external database. The EU one is inadequate as it doesn't have an option to filter reader-based for example.
