RAC - Charts & Price Action, page-10075

Hey Yannpiot, been reading this thread for nearly 2 years and watching RAC daily trading pretty closely during that time. First time posting any analysis though so go easy on me.

Is it correct to assume all trades under 150 are bots when the line is part of a broader 'legit' sale? For example at 11:56:48 it looks like someone sold 4512 shares, which was executed as 5 smaller trades. Only one was 74 shares which may have been a 'bot' sell order sitting in the queue. It could also have just been leftover shares from another order that wasn't fully executed earlier in the day. Hard to tell without cross checking the sale data with the order book data for the entire day (Im not even sure if this will help)

Anyway, if I was worried about bots I'd look at all sales below about 138 that are not part of a larger simultaneous order.

Seems to be lots of sales around the $470 - $490 mark (138ish shares) which I assume are just the minimum retail orders which would be > $500 incl. brokerage. So I didnt include these. I also didnt include opening/closing auctions.

So I reckon there was only 12 bot 'spot' trades and some of these could even be leftovers from buy/sell orders that were not fully executed. 514 shares traded worth $1859 for the day. Less than 0.5% of total daily value.

Could cross check if these are pushing the SP up or down a pip based on your analysis above but its NYE and I've got other things to do. Might have a closer look in January....could even do up an automated spready to check daily suspected bot activity.
