As the company reports it is a (TRIAL) - experimental site
The Carbon Energy Bloodwood Creek trial site is located 55km west of Dalby in southeast Qld. The coal utilized is a part of the Walloon Coal Measures within the Surat Basin, at a depth of 200m and is extremely well suited for gasification. The site has a coal resource of over 100 million tonnes of high quality coal, and this resource is approx 2,000 PJ of energy, with some 1,000 PJ being potentially recoverable utilizing UCG.
Anyone that says it is a commercialization site and does not agree with the Queensland Governments banning of commercial UCG, must be retarded.
