Possibly US traders realised that it was the last day of Oct,and there had been no real panic yet in the month that traditionally hosts the biggest stock market crahes.lol
On a more serious note,Australia is doing well,one of our biggest trade partners,China is doing well,and both of their futures are looking rosey,while the US economy/lifestyle on borrowed money is taking a big correction.
I just feel that sooner or later the US market will have a lesser impact on the global markets as their trade position/spending power drops away.
