The cold war between US and China is a battle to determine who the new global sheriff is. For decades the USA has been the world's police, the arbiters of who is right and who's flavour of governance is supreme.
what we are witnessing is China finding it's voice and testing it's influence in the world. They are trying on the daddy pants.
