I wasn't inferring that a drop in the world's population, due only to conflict, is a good thing; but the world can not forever continue with its spiraling population explosion. If this continues, there will,eventually and inevitably, be a very heavy price to pay.
Only maniacs, or those inundated with overwhelming sexual desires, would ever consider sex as their primary goal in life unless,of course, they are absolute idiots.Religion in this regard, is of no help whatsoever.
