But can you think of any reason why a finance marketing or loan originator company like IDSB gets approved for the AG Code license over say many other big finance institutions in Malaysia?
So if a small outfit like IDSb gets the Ag code, could other politically connected get one too?
The Ag code licence doesn't need to be transferred out per se but there are other ways to dilute its value as theres no clear indication who gets the licence and on what criteria. Its just a lack of transparency.
