@vivRookie, to be fair, the decision to sell that stock held under Lucerne Investment Partners, was made entirely by Anthony Murphy (CEO).
Aaryn had previously been the Portfolio Manager of the fund (Lucerne) but had moved on by that time. So ultimately, the management of the fund (buy/sell decision making) was independent of Aaryn at the time of the sale, he had no input.
But, at that time, Aaryn's had an administrative directorship of Lucerne and therefore this connection had to be disclosed to the ASX on the substantial shareholder notices, which disclosed the selling by Lucerne.
Regardless, it was not a good look and did a lot of damage to the reputation of the company and the shareholder register.
Unfortunate that the situation was misunderstood by most investors.
Going forward, I would like to see Aaryn dip his hand into his own pocket and start to buy on market at these prices. It would do a lot of shift the (very deflated) sentiment that surrounds the stock.
