Somewhere above in this thread, there was a statement (re Merc?) that Akida can cut the battery load by something of the order of 4 kW when doing video analysis.
In addition, there was a reference to merc using Silicon in their batteries. Talga is and ASX company which has a graphite mine in Sweden and which makes graphite/Silicon battery anodes which have the lowest carbon footprint in the world. The carbon footprint is important as EU has introduced CO2 penalties.
The Merc blurbs also mentioned active battery control to evenly distribue the load over the battery cells, which Akida may also be able to facilitate at low power.
While I don't know if Talga is supplying anodes to merc, it is possible that ASX companies will be leading the EV revolution.
