I want to point out something which I have been concerned about for some time now and that is the disconnect between the target of moving to EV’s world wide and the generation of the electricity to charge these vehicles.

The achievement by Mercedes of a comfortable 1,000 kilometre range in and of itself alleviates this concern considerably and should mean a clean energy future will be achievable despite ourselves.

I have said it here before it is going to take revolutionary scientific discoveries to preserve what we have.

Using a paper bag at the supermarket is not a solution but a way to make me feel better about my past failings as a global citizen.

If we throw into this mix the potential of AKIDA at the edge to reduce electricity consumption in data centres by 97% then despite ourselves there is cause for optimism about the world we will pass on to our children and grandchildren.
