I must admit the EGA sale didn't bother me as I get worried when I see Ore Sorters introduced in an attempt to make a project work. The NUS deal on the other hand was the one that frustrated me the most. I felt as long as Lion had another tangible investment in a project that was likely to be developed, this would give them an alternative avenue in the event Pani continued to be held up. To this day I can't believe that project failed to attract finance. Very disappointing.
I have spoken to Hedley Widdup at Lion on a number of occasions in the past and am satisfied the company appreciates what it is they hold. I would be amazed if Provident hadn't already made them an offer on their interest. The fact that no deal has been made despite the significant time which has elapsed leads me to believe they are committed to this one. At least I hope so.
Let's see what happens.
