I don't share your risk assessment regarding South America. Peru is politically risky. Otherwise, why should countries like Chile be expected to allow miners to operate at lower environmental standards and lower tax rates than countries like Australia? I for one am glad that higher global standards of ESG are being demanded. Any miner that wants to ignore that is a risky investment IMHO.
