Polluters don't have to factor in the cost, it gets passed straight on to us the consumers. We are going to be paying so much more for EVERYTHING, and yet no one is questioning this. Do you want to be living back in the dark ages, not able to afford to use your airconditioner, even though (hypothetically here) the temp is rising?

Paying way more for food because transport, harvesting and production cost have to go up.

I cannot believe that people are happy about a new tax that will do nothing to stop global warming. And if China and India don't get into it, then it will do sweet. . . all. But it will stuff our economy

An ETS is only a good idea for taking the average man's money and making his life a lot harder. Does anyone know how i get into carbon credit trading?
