Yes, that dropping rejection rate is indeed welcome news. The company is bending over backwards to address any concerns the locals might have and its good to know they represent a small minority. There are some people that will never change their mind but these are the same people that don't have any viable solutions to the youth unemployment in the area either. I remember reading a damning article highlighting the troubling demographics of the area (young people leaving due to a lack of work) and projects like this are part of the solution. Absolutely no reason why this project can't help address the employment issues while fuelling the EUs alternative energy transformation, all while ensuring the local area is environmentally protected. Rational minds see this as a potential win-win for everyone.
