    We're definitely not richer than Aus (but I feel our quality of life is far higher). Salaries for similar professions are usually lower in Canada and we get less vacation leave. That being said, at least for me, Canadian values and the ability of the government to serve its citizens with rapid availability of medicines, vaccines, and tests more than make it worth living here.

    I'm not sure what you're trying to prove or say with your remarks about what Americans think about the Trudeau immigration policy. Not sure what it matters what the Americans think when it comes to what countries do within their own sovereign borders.

    This is like saying: "Canadians and Australians think the U.S. healthcare policy of non-universal care is just plain nuts." What would this matter to an American and vice versa?
