I bought in around 5 years ago ,my kids followed me in as well
I have bought at .19 c
I have bought at $1.36
and all prices in between
I worked on the theory that although it matters the price you by your shares at to me at that stage it was far more important to accumulate units than worry about a few cents in daily share price fluctuations
I could see the cents would turn to dollars and my units would potentially turn into an money tree
I’m watching it unfold and keeping thinking what Charlie Munger says about the mathematical power of doing nothing !!!
my average is 41c but the spp at .36 not factored into that
well, well ,well…… what a ride!!!
for a good 12 months my daughter and son loathed pls
needless to say their feelings toward this company have warmed considerably
I liken this company to an oak tree
you don’t pull oak trees out when they are saplings
oak trees can provide shade for generations
my children now have fat house deposits , my wife and I have a smsf fund that looks very healthy thanks almost exclusively to pls and it’s rise since last November
It’s very satisfying to pick a winner and invest everything into at a pretty early stage and having your adult children think your a legend isn’t bad either
