Re " Border force did control the border. ..." ... you're kidding, right? They even issued a visa without checking documentation! Only when Djokovic fronted at the airport under intense media scrutiny did they respond by treating Djokovic as an 'illegal' and incarcerated him in a third rate grubby hotel.
Morrison's Border Force is indeed a repeat offender and unfit for purpose. Yet again, it's allowed Australia's international reputation to be ridiculed. It needs to be reconstructed from the ground up and those ministers responsible for it stood down effective immediately.
