I must take the opportunity to tell the forum, on what a great job you did at the after meeting.
Don and Peter were amazed at some of the finer details that you knew about the project and even interested in some of your research.
I must come to your defence on this matter as i have not been able to get this off my mind ever since.
As Don sat there drinking his white tea no sugar and Westcott mentioned the name of one very large company, his exhausted face lit up, as did Peters. Than there was a silent stagnant pause as Don and Peter made eye contact, than Don answered something along the lines of “we can’t discuss anything to do with the financing partners.” Many companies had been discussed earlier in the meeting, and their questions were all at least attempted to be answers to some degree.
Yesterday i discussed with my work mate, this incident as it happed. He come back to me today and suggested to me this could be the reason for the trading halt. SDL could be scared what the rumour of this very large company could do to the share price, and than maybe jeopardise any deal.
But at the end of the day i am a young mug punter with no idea, and my mate ain’t much more.
