I think you'll find people like me who have been very disppointed by this company will be looking for shortfall shares and may well be tempted to sell for quick profits to reduce previous losses.
I think they should allocate on a pro-rata basis. Those of us who bought in at higher prices (many much higher than I did) last year have fewer shares and may feel aggrieved if such a policy such as number of shares at record date comes to fruition. Just my opinion. I'm understandably not interested in saying anything good about them so take what I say with a grain of salt.
On the other hand ADY is my only real loser in a short period of investing so I can't grumble too much.
