Typical Chinese “ cheque book colonialism “ attempt over those more recent years imo.
I was always suspicious of that little group of a certain ethnicity on the the board and my digging into names and associations at different times showed a group that could have had control of half or more of the shares on the register. Thankfully their holding company went tits up and Quentin and co were able to rally the troops enough to oust the remaining puppets .
I’ve been accumulating CAP/HIO since 2014/15 but I was surprised to get a call from QH a year or so ago about voting in the AGM which resulted in the final cleansing of the board. Reading your history it is obvious that we didn’t realise how god awful lucky we were to be able to get past that dangerous crossroad with an actual shareholder focused board and not a …. foreign interest shall we say in control
Very happy to hold long term now and , all being well, I will be on the ground out there cheering on the first train load of ore that rolls out of Broken Hill .
