No I don’t think so mate... your entitled to your opinion as am I...
I think it depends on where you live, and those you associate with... most teenagers today are rebelling against there parents... if I took a punt with figures I would say 70% of teenagers are rebelling in there home today and against society in some sort of form...
As with most teenagers they feel misunderstood (nothing new under the sun).. However today’s teenagers have more influence and more negativity surrounding them..
Parents are extremely busy today, struggling to pay their mortgages, struggling to put food on the table. In the majority of homes parents are both working fulltime jobs.. How are they suppose to find quality time for there children today, they can barely find time for them selves..
Don’t confuse the difference between a strong family relationship with the external appearance, or shallow conversation such as "how was your day darling".. How many parents these days sit down and talk sex and drugs with there children, how many parents actually take time to find out what there up to when they walk out the door in the evening...
Personally I think I know all to well what I’m talking about here.. Go for a walk in the evenings when schoolies is in play, see how these little adults are acting, do you think there parents really know what there getting up to.. How many attend schoolies, tens of thousands of teenagers.. This is not the minority, this is the majority..
Teenagers today easily deceive there parents, parents are overburdened today to take the time to really know what there children are up to, in truth I think there ignorance is the only way they can get through the day, they live in hope that they have done the best they can..
