I really liked the reference to the manufacturing fit for major pharma's current use helping save them:
70% in packaging costs
70% in transport costs, and
70% in storage costs
- simply due to the fact of the clip on devices they must currently use to meet safety standards with needle stick. It's very hard to see any major pharma not wanting to make the above savings, Alan reinterated the interest shown by other major pharma once again.
I also read last night about how hard the FDA will make it for device manufacturers in the future and how long the process will take for things like 510k approvals. The article suggested this may stop or delay device makers in some of their future projects and that some may cut R&D spending, they talked of the chance that M&A's might be the newer approach by larger groups instead.
Right place and this is our time, UNI are set for some rather big things me thinks:)))
