Honestly don't agree with trying to turn a short-term profit on PLS even at these prices. Well not that I don't agree with making a profit - just that I personally don't have the balls for it at this point in time.

My short term trading parcel has instantly become a long term trading parcel in the space of just over 2 months - because I hold these in my personal name and now the CGT consequences of a sale has more than wiped my losses of transferring my PLS shares to another tax structure in March 2020 (might as well now hold till late November this year for the 50% CGT discount).

My thought process is that I'm near guaranteed that the PLS SP will be higher in late November this year than it is today (POSCO JV will be 7 months from up and running, additional capacity added, further drilling, possible ramp up under way for additional 100ktpa, more positives from Calix development, many more BMX "PRICE MAKING" auctions, Solar farm up and running etc). And who knows I might still not need the money come late November this year?

To many good news announcements to come for this company.

Feel at this point in time international fundamentals don't mean to much if we can continue to achieve many multiples of our cost of production and PLS builds a war chest (CASH IS KING). Although short term - yes if international markets tank, everything tends to get dragged with them - good, bad or otherwise.

Although for people near retirement completely understand de-risking - sequencing risk is real and has f'd many a retirement portfolio. I'm very near the realm of retirement, however am only 31 so can be a bit more patient than others on the forum.
