Yes, sentiments based on info/data/events has always been the driver of SP. Current commentary on iron per ton appears to be the main driver.

Charting which I see covered in postings here & discussed at length is like stirring tea leaves in a cup and expecting to see or what you want to see. The art of consolidating data & its circumstances around a particular share & then comparing its life cycle to previous positions or to other like for like stock is not sustainable when predicting future positions.Thats not say that charting does not influence some degree of pricing change based on changed sentiment.
