    Yes, that is puzzling given that the younger tend to be greener than us ol dawgs. An enigma none the less.

    Ah, but that presents another problem. Teens are usually cash poor and when the BEV's drop, the ICE's will drop even further - presenting an overwhelmingly attractive "BUY ME" argument for an ICE purchase.

    Nobody wins, because in five years time they will not be able to give their ICE away except for scrap metal proving yet again that "The Poor Man Pays Twice".

    I just had a FLASH moment! Bequeath an inheritance amount for 50% of purchase price (trust fund, whatever???), that stipulates to be used for a BEV purchase only. Could that possibly work?
