Just for my education; has anyone calculated a value on the proposed spin off assets? What percentage of the total value of FMS are they?
This would give you the value of the new IPO SP and that percentage should be used to calculate how many shares each one of us already owns of the new company as far as I'm concerned.
If they want us to buy the new shares then they are taking something we already own and charging us again for it; how is this good for the shareholders?
This smells of what ANZ did to the poor Opus Prime shareholders; "Oh didn't we tell you? You don't actually own the shares you thought you did but you're free to buy them back on market. Thank you for coming!!"
I'll be waiting for more details before I make up my mind but I know that if I have to buy into the IPO (even at a discount) I will not be happy.
