UES, Inc. has an immediate opening available for an Electrical Engineer to support the Novel Neuromorphic Hardware (NeuroPipe) development at the Air Force Research Laboratory’s Materials and Manufacturing Directorate, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, OH.

A successful candidate must be a motivated individual with technical skills and an attention to detail to provide direct support to NeuroPipe research efforts and laboratories. This position will work closely with a team of civilian, military and contractor scientists, engineers, and students to support day-to-day operations in NeuroPipe research laboratories. The successful candidate will work with novel circuit chips with applications in autonomy, on-board sensor processing and cognitive decision systems.

Requirements:

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or related field of study is required
• 1-3 years of experience in conducting laboratory research and interacting with technical research teams; experience in a government/DoD laboratory environment a plus
• Experience with memristor structures for memory and neuromorphic applications.
• Familiarity with thin film deposition and characterization is a plus
• This position is working within a government facility and requires U.S. Citizenship
