Depths are usually all made with reference to the drill platform - so with regard to Dorade I read the depths as follows:

Target Depth 2,420
Sea Depth 1,670
Dirt to Drill 750

Current Depth 2,347
Dirt Drilled 677

So just 73m of dirt to go until a result - other than water depth this is a very shallow well
