    Acquired Pixar in 2006
    Acquired Marvel in 2009
"With a highly lucrative string of Marvel films premiering at the box office since then, they have already made their money back – with more to come, no doubt."

Purchased Android in 2005 and Youtube in 2006.

Two quick examples. M&A works and is effective. These two companies were able to grow into even larger companies through these acquisitions. If another company has already done all the ground work complying to regulation, building brand and employees in the country and the cost to acquire is cheaper or similar to starting from scratch then it makes sense to acquire. Within Zip you can see it has been more effect to acquire than to start from scratch using the UK as an example. So your opinion is just that, an opinion and a poor one at that. Both of these companies look to be running a very sustainable and profitable company.
