Speaking of history, it might come as a surprise to some to learn that Truscreen has an interesting connection with one of the earliest electronic calculators - the Cintra/Tektronix Model 909.

scroll down to the group photograph. See on the left one of the most eminent electronic engineers to have been involved in the development of Truscreen, or the Polarprobe, as he (the late Dr Irwin Wundermann) would have known it.
