    Dex,
i don't think Hardmano was lamenting as a "victim".
I think he was referring to the "risk/reward" scenario.
The way I read it was he was pointing out that these share/loan situations confer on Directors the pleasure of No Risk - ALL Reward.
Shareholders are not offered that privelege. We have all risk, and a hope of reward.
The upside gift (no downside) to Anderson is simply a golden welcome, so that he has some "skin" in the game - but its not his skin.
My point has always been, that they are paid fees to do their job. If the fees are inadequate, then pay them more if need be.
I hate the notion that some coys subscribe to, where the directors have their noses in the trough.
Trouble is, they all do it.
It just happened to MOS - directors declared an SPP at below mkt prices. Most of the Directors had no shares, so they proposed a special placement to directors! Point is, at the last two AGM i attended, s/h asked "why do you directors have no shares in coy?".
ie - now things are looking up, directors want in!
I know, I am just being cynical.
I guess, at the end of the day, I think this is a terrific coy with plenty of upside - have been in for many years, and in 12mths time we will all be laughing!
    cheers
