Schiff's modus operandi is to come across as a dude who really cares about others, he's ostensibly going to shelter his dupes from all kinds of financial and economic ruin - he's been predicting gold $10,000, a USD crash and all kinds of other economic mayhem and carnage for decades, none of which has happened.
