    Thanks joe,

    on the fsc debate,
I've noticed on Sodra's web that hey have just had their first mill in the fsc process/rating.
These guys have atleast 5 mills in scandinavia, so I can't be too convinced that fsc is of high priority for gunns one mill?

Also, are you aware of the fsc requirements?
I haven't googled that yet, but is there a brief on the requirement of this additional certification?
I wonder with the claim for African fsc approved mill(s), given other aspects of the place - particularly the constant power source (or not!), as one possible factor. Must only be in a very stable location in the vast Africa that I know of.
    -----

News article in todays a.f.r. on gunns seems abit one-sided on many of the items noted.
Vineyard on the western side of the river, for example, are concerned about smell. Well with the prevailing weather from the west, not sure how much of an issue this really is, for the odd wiff of treated air!
Also makes reference to the mill's proposed location ~ in with far more concerning industry players, as far as the potential for pollution ~ especially when the oil-fired power plant is functioning!!
No mention about the unique power surplas created via the new mill!

    Cheers :)
