Carmik...... Its the patch not the medicine....And like you say....Many companies buy patches upon which they place their medicine.
Not everything can be taken orally and needles hurt...Ouch.
If you prefer oral thats your choice...Some people don't like swallowing. Pills that is.
I believe patches were first invented to avoid getting needles when some medicine compounds taken orally harm the digestive tract and create problems in the future. In addition to that they were invented to provide a controlled release of medicinal compounds...Such as is required for smokers and during the ovulation periods... Patches are becoming ever more accepted throughout the world and it wouldn't surprise me if they become or are the number 1 method of administering birth control stimuli.. China, India, Africa....Governments and world health organizations searching for a cost effective, long shelf life, non-invasive, easy to administer, controlled release, ++++.......Etc it goes on and on and on..Whats your idea of 10% of that market worth in dollars???
