    Hi Everyone

I have been reading every post regarding the SPP with interest and concluded that I may be the only one here who had summitted my entitlements in full - got two lots.

Has anyone ever considered that if any ann. next week, the offer may just close early once the $40 million has been received? Hence the non B-Pay decision by the company. Easier for the company to set a cut off date rather than to prevent a flood of electronic payments.

Further to this point, with a cut off date, the need to bank any further cheque payments will be avoided. There is then no need to calculate and refund the scaled down moneys, saving the time, effort and extra expenses involved.

Moreover the company can then say to all the people who missed out that the true believers are the ones who should gain from the SPP. Those who sent in early then won't feel betrayed as well.

It has been a very simple decision for me as I only have to ask myself whether it is well worth the punt throwing more money into ESG at this price? I think so and this is my personal opinion only. Moreover it is free money from the HGO dividents and if ESG's s.p. were to go down from here, it really only means that I have got less divident from HGO. With many here on HC, it may mean hard earned cash and a totally different ball game. We have to make our own choices.

The remainder of November should be interesting for both ESG and HGO hopefully. If not then there is next month, and then next month, and then next month and sh.. big time if nothing happens. I hope Christmas will come early for all of us.

    Good luck to all
