I don't consider a lot of things as 'diagnoses' (if doctors find something they don't understand as normal - they call it a diagnosis, such is the medical model) - I sleep longer than the normal. I sleep biphasic.

Sometimes, rarely, I go right through. However there are some other times where sleep one is extended - interestingly, perhaps during ketosis - although I'm new to experimenting with that.

I also have multiple dream periods - beginning right from the start of any sleep - within seconds. I would not ever like to lose that.

I avoid medications unless I think there's a large gain. The only medication I take is Singulair 10mg for brain - (have to tell the doctor for asthma in Fr. - can tell doctor Asthma or rhinitis in Oz), also lo dose asprin since covid and vit. D (prescription vit. D) -- .

On my longer endurance walks etc. - 50km plus -- I find that on finish - sleep for about 3 hours - a longer nanna nap thing - then, a normal nights sleep and almost perfectly normal next day - the feet ask - where DID we go - otherwise - all pretty much normal.
