hmm..I’m quite bullish on bsx long term but not sure about this JV theory

If you wanted a stake in something that you’re assured of going to lot higher mcap than current over next 6-9 months, why would you want to JV when closer to $750m-$1b when you can maintain/increase ownership at $250m mcap?
doesn’t quite add up.

my gut feel (& am no expert here), is they’re content wirh current % holding in bsx, they’d be diversifying into multiple other stocks on asx tsx etc & Scott mentioned mulriple times there’ll be room for more than 1 partner during downstream decision, prob in the company’s interest to not have just 1-2 majors on the register as well when it comes to negotiation power incase there’s a TO prospect.

what am more keen to find out is who got these remaining soi in the large placement? Is it vinfast or one of the korean majors? Or was it local “sophs” who’l be eager to exit on U pfs
