After reading about the approval process for new drugs on the FDA website, my understanding is that a decision regarding Priority versus Standard Review is made within 45 days of submission. If so, a decision should have already been made?
By the way, Gleevac - also for the treatment of chronic myeloid leukemia - was granted approval within 4 months.
